Arzakan - Buzhakan - Tekhenis - Ancient Zovuni | Duration – 7-8 Hours | Route - 200KM

Meeting at 10:00, then we move in the direction of the village of Arzakan. Not far from the village is the medieval monastery of Neguts, from where our off-road route along the most beautiful forest paths begins, which will lead us to another historical attraction - the Tegenyat monastery of the 10th century, in the vicinity of which we will organize a light lunch (see pricing for food below), and then we will continue our way to the top of Mount Teghenis. The mountain is located 50 km from Yerevan. The height of the mountain is 2851m. There is a wonderful view of the neighboring peaks of Arai and Aragats, as well as the Aparan reservoir. Having climbed over the top, we will begin our descent to the ancient settlement of Zovuni, where the church of St. Poghos Petros has been preserved, which, due to its location, goes under the water every year. In a nearby pine forest, we will organize a delicious dinner flavored with the aroma of evergreen pines, combined with excellent Armenian wine.
